In 2020, the Wellington Board of Education and the Kiwanis Club of Wellington created the WHS Outstanding Community Service Award. The award is presented annually to the graduating senior with the most community service hours. Wellington High has been tracking students’ community service hours for several years. Kiwanis has been serving Wellington for 100 years, striving to enhance the lives of the children of the community, and is pleased to fund this award that recognizes exemplary service to the community.
