The annual Kiwanis Pancake Day took place on Friday, February 21, 2025 at the Wellington Eagles. Serving will take place from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. and then resume from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ONGOING SUPPORT! We will post information about the 2026 event once the date is established.
The village that proudly boasts Archibald Willard and his iconic “The Spirit of 76’ painting, had a record 272 U.S. flags waving throughout Wellington as part of Kiwanis’ fifth annual Parade of Flags. We salute the Wellington Eagles and Wellington implement for having 10 flags set in front of their establishments. Our featured July 4th sponsors include Council President Gene Hartman and Beth Hannon with 20 flags in front of the Town Hall and Mayor Hans Schneider at Union School Park. The mayor started the 20-flag sponsorships, and it has grown to include the America Legion at the Vietnam Memorial on the south lawn of the Town Hall, the hill at Barb O’Keefe Way on North Main St., and the Wellington Masonic Lodge on W.
