Wellington Kiwanis sponsored its eighth annual “State of Wellington” breakfast featuring village and school leaders at 8 a.m. Thursday, March 28 at the Wellington Eagles, 631 St. Main St., Wellington.
Keynote speakers were Wellington Schools’ Superintendent Andrew Peltz and Treasurer Pete Bailey and Mayor Hans Schneider and Village Manager Jonathan Greever. They looked back on 2024 and outlined their goals for 2025 and forward.
Tickets for the 2026 event will go on sale after the first of the year. Sponsorships are always available.
All proceeds from the breakfast are earmarked for the Wellington Kiwanis long-term signature project of raising funds for building and replacing community playground equipment.
Thank you to the community members who donated school supplies. Our club also allocated $600 from several intraclub raffles to purchase supplies. #KidsNeedKiwanis... See MoreSee Less
