Wellington Kiwanis sponsored its eighth annual “State of Wellington” breakfast featuring village and school leaders at 8 a.m. Thursday, March 28 at the Wellington Eagles, 631 St. Main St., Wellington.
Keynote speakers were Wellington Schools’ Superintendent Andrew Peltz and Treasurer Pete Bailey and Mayor Hans Schneider and Village Manager Jonathan Greever. They looked back on 2024 and outlined their goals for 2025 and forward.
Tickets for the 2026 event will go on sale after the first of the year. Sponsorships are always available.
All proceeds from the breakfast are earmarked for the Wellington Kiwanis long-term signature project of raising funds for building and replacing community playground equipment.

We are meeting at the Wellington Fire District’s Community Room, 202 Kelly St. A light dinner will be served at 5:30 pm, with the program starting at 6 pm.
