Last fall’s Adventure Raffle and bed build benefiting Good Knights of Lorain County earned the Kiwanis Club of Wellington the Ohio Kiwanis District’s Signature Project of the Year award. Partnering with the Wellington Eagles and Wellington Masonic Lodge, we raised more than $50,000 and built 105 beds with help from about 125 adult and student volunteers from Wellington, Keystone, and Black River high schools—the largest and fastest bed build in Good Knights history. We received the honor at the Ohio District’s Mid-Year Education Conference in Newark last month and are now entered in the international competition. This year’s Adventure Raffle is Saturday, Sept. 26, and the bed build is Saturday, Oct. 24. Thank you, Wellington, for your support!

Her illustrated book "Loop of Lost Souls" describes addiction: drug, alcohol, electronics, etc. in a way that even children can grasp.
